Overview of the Chamber's Legislative Priorities
  • Government - Support the functions of government to enhance the economic base of private enterprise and Irwindale businesses.
  • Health Care - Preserve human dignity and access to basic services as a right of all citizens.
  • Energy - Support efforts to develop and sustain safe, reliable and efficient cost effective sources of energy in order to maintain a viable business environment and robust economy in the SGV.
  • Infrastructure and Environment - Support the maintenance and required improvement of the infrastructure to support the needs of the existing population and growth, which stimulates the economy.
  • Labor - Foster legislation that will allow business and industry flexibility to safely and efficiently manage its employees and develop programs that enhance productivity.
  • Regulations - Support efforts to encourage new businesses and retain existing businesses by reforming the burdensome regulatory process.
  • Transportation - Support development and expansion of the transportation network.

Overview of the SGV Coalition's Priorities
  • Government - Support the functions of government to enhance the economic base of private enterprise and businesses in the San Gabriel Valley.

San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network
The San Gabriel Public Affairs Network (PAN) is an organization focused on promoting the common interests of public affairs professionals in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding area. Its mission is to provide information, tools and resources that will enhance public affairs professionals, business leaders and elected officials to understand current issues affecting the San Gabriel Valley region and California.


The San Gabriel Public Affairs Network provides many important member benefits, including:

• Access to key public policy leaders and information through periodic electronic communications and luncheon forums. The San Gabriel Valley Public Affairs Network provides speakers and experts that can present information on current issues affecting the San Gabriel Valley and California.

• Promotes networking opportunities for public affairs professionals, business and industry leaders and key legislative staff and elected officials.

• Creates relationships among members that facilitate the ability to seek advice and counsel from peers on problems and opportunities facing the public affairs industry as well as regional issues facing the San Gabriel Valley.

• Provides sponsorship opportunities for companies in the San Gabriel Valley and provides an excellent way for corporate leaders to have access and discussions with key public policy leaders.
