Johnson-Peltier has been a family owned business in operation since 1957. Since Howard Peltier's passing 5 years ago, Kevin Peltier has graciously filled his father's role evolving from a long standing Vice President of the company to an outstanding President and owner. Kevin has taken the role in strides and has achieved a great deal with his business, particularly in the last two years. He has reinvested nearly 100% of the annual gross profit back into the business. He has expanded the fleet by with 7 new, fully loaded state of the art trucks specifically designed for Johnson-Peltier's needs. Johnson-Peltier has equipped every field foreman and office staff with an iPhone coupled with brand new computer software. With the iPhone roll out, we were able to streamline JP's payroll process with mobile time tracking allowing foremen to focus more on the job at hand and less on paperwork allowing JohnsonPeltier to improve its quality and use of man hours. Johnson-Peltier has also equipped each truck in the fleet with a full diagnostic GPS allowing us to better understand the field, status of vehicles, route inefficiencies, and identify unsafe driving habits while rewarding safe drivers amongst other things. Additionally, Johnson-Peltier's home office is half way through undergoing a complete overhaul and makeover including new office furniture, new carpet, new paint, a fully equipped employee gym, new parking spaces, and additional warehouse space. Kevin has also doubled the size of the estimating team, re structured work flow process, rolled out new incentives, and brought on new business development personnel. It ls safe to say Johnson-Peltier is thriving and is certainly slated for new growth. Johnson-Peltier is an amazing environment to work in where employees and customers alike are feeling appreciated and cared for on a daily basis and we are already seeing some of the changes paying off in positive ways. At the beginning of these changes, Johnson-Peltier received a highly sought after industry award in 2013 from Miller Coors known as the "Electrical Excellence Award" for a large project. In addition, Johnson-Peltier has secured a multi-year service contract with The Gas Company and has been recognized in several of their internal and external publications for its excellence in service and commitment to the rather complex project.
Hanson Aggregates is celebrating 107 years in Business. Hanson is one of the world's largest suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry such as aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel), ready-mixed and precast concrete, asphalt and cement-related materials and a range of building products including concrete pipes, concrete pavers, tiles and clay bricks. With its robust network of plants and ability to transport materials by water and rail, Hanson Aggregates has the capability to supply construction projects in major markets across the country. Hanson supplies aggregates for a variety of uses. While the majority of our materials are used for the production of ready mixed concrete and asphalt, our aggregates are also used for base material, filter stone, drainage and erosion control, landscaping, railroad ballast and backfill.
Kellie Sherrill, Knightling's resident photographer, started her photography education at a relatively early age. She took black & white photography and darkroom classes in middle school, high school and college. She graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2005 with a Fine Art Degree. Kellie has gained even more experience from her personal life, as she has taken photographs in a variety of locations on several continents. It is rare to find her without a camera whether she is working, attending a social event or on vacation.
Kellie started Knightling Photo Studio in 2007 and in 2014 opened her photo studio in Azusa (at the Irwindale border). She specializes in baby and family photography but her range is wide and she has photographed all over the world and as well as many life events such as engagements and more. She serves the San Gabriel Valley and beyond.
