PLEASE DONATE, SAVE HUMANITY
The Nepalese diaspora community and people around the world is stunned by the loss of lives and property caused by a massive earthquake (7.9) in Nepal on Saturday, April 24. The quake turned centuries old historic buildings, monuments, and temples into rubbles in seconds. Thousands of people have been injured, and many men, women, and children are still buried in the debris. Several thousand others have been forced to spend nights out in the open because their homes have been destroyed. Government’s dwindling budget will not be adequate to tackle this massive scale of devastation.

As I reflect on the things and people that make my life good, I also think about all those people that are not so lucky. There are still so many that are unemployed, trying to make ends meet as we slowly recover from a deep recession. There are those kids that, through circumstances that they did not cause, are lost and troubled. There are those that are suffering with bad health, difficult home lives, and tough economic times; there are those that are hungry and not sure where that next meal is coming from.
