Heartbeat for Irwindale

This annual event hosted by the Irwindale Chamber of Commerce's Environmental Committee promotes healthy living, providing information and resources to the entire community. In addition to the business community, the general public is strongly encouraged to attend and benefit from this forum. The theme for this event in 2009 was “Manage Your Health – Because Change Happens in a Heartbeat” and some of the major sponsors were Veolia Environmental, City of Hope, Hanson Aggregates, Foothill Transit, Joe’s Place, and Ready Pac Produce. Featured were presentations on Healthcare Legislation, Patient Advocacy, Nutrition for Life, and Living with Hope and Health.

Heartbeat for Irwindale 2008 was centered around water conservation. Entitled "Water: The Lifeblood of our Community," the forum consisted of a panel of speakers who focused on the water supply in the San Gabriel Valley and its affect on business.
