Chamber Staff

Marlene Carney is the President/CEO of the Irwindale Chamber.  She brings over 30 years of industry experience.  From 1992-2013, Carney worked for the California Chamber of Commerce, first as their Director of Local Chamber Services and then as the Director of External Affairs/Local Chamber Services-Southern California.  Prior to her role with the California Chamber, Carney served as the chief executive of the Turlock Chamber of Commerce in the Central Valley.  
Carney grew up in East Los Angeles.  She is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles and is Past President of the CSULA Alumni Association Board of Directors.  She looks forward to working with the Irwindale business community.

Veronica Orosco is the Chamber's Events Manager, a role she took on in April 2015.  Previously she ​served as Office Manager for over a decade. She has been with the Irwindale Chamber for 14 years where she started out as the Receptionist/Customer Service Representative.  Veronica was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico and moved to California in 1986 where she grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. She has been married for 15 years and has 3 kids and 2 grandkids.  Both she and her husband live and work in the City of Irwindale.  
She oversees the coordination of the Chamber's networking events, luncheons, workshops and special events like the Golf Tournament and the World Tour of Food, Brews, Blues at the Pub . She also handles the bookkeeping and is the Newsletter Editor.

Sari Canales is the new Administrative Assistant and Membership Development Coordinator.  Sari grew up in the San Gabriel Valley area and currently resides in Glendora with her husband and two children.  She has a BA in Communications from Mount St. Mary's in Moraga.  Sari's plans for the Irwindale Chamber are to grow the Chamber membership by developing solid relationships with prospective members and provide each new member with promotion, education and information important to the success of their business.
