Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center is a part of an integrated health care delivery system serving the community and more than 292,000 members in the San Gabriel Valley. A team of highly qualified physicians, nurses, and staff are committed to providing safe, accessible, high-quality, and culturally sensitive health care to all members. The 272-bed facility provides a full array of health care services, including primary, specialty, surgical, obstetrical, and emergency services.
Baldwin Park Medical Center is a 9-1-1 receiving hospital that has met the standards of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services approved accreditation body as a Primary Stroke Center and has been approved as a Stroke Center by the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services Agency.
Minimally invasive hysterectomy is done in more than 80% of patient cases resulting in a faster and less painful recovery. Baldwin Park’s Orthopedic Oncology Department provides specialized services for patients throughout Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
The medical center is supported by satellite medical offices in the surrounding communities of City of Industry, Diamond Bar, Montebello, San Dimas, West Covina, and Irwindale (2019).

Participation in the Irwindale Educational Foundation, civic and service organizations, charitable activities, religious groups, educational institutions & other involvements, such as youth groups.
Kaiser Permanente sponsors several Irwindale events such as the Legislative Leadership Reception, First Responder's Breakfast, Irwindale Educational Foundation's BBQ on the Green, Irwindale Senior Health Fair, and the Irwindale Music in the Park event where back-to-school supplies were donated.
In 2017, Kaiser Permanente’s overall Community Benefit investment in the San Gabriel Valley was 28 million. This contribution helps address unmet health and social needs and is provided through grants and donations for community based programs, medical care, educational programs for youth., and community health education. In addition, Kaiser Permanente also coordinates outreach programs in the broader community such as:
• Domestic Violence Campaign, a month-long collection drive that takes place in October in partnership with Congresswoman Judy Chu and Congresswoman Grace Napolitano and local women’s shelters to provide women and children’s clothing, toiletries, and school supplies to victims of domestic violence in the San Gabriel Valley.
• Community Surgery Day, a partnership with East Valley Community Health Center where uninsured, low-income patients from throughout the San Gabriel Valley receive free surgical procedures.
• Participation in numerous community health fairs, walks, career days, and speaker presentations.
Chamber of Commerce Activity:
Kaiser Permanente participates as a Cornerstone Club member, is represented on the Board of Directors and makes significant contributions to Chamber events and programs in the of form of product donations or sponsorships. Reyna Del Haro, Director of Public Affairs, serves on the Board of Directors.
