SCE Federal Credit Union (SCE FCU) is currently celebrating its 65th year in business.
A large part of what has contributed to the Credit Union’s longevity and success, along with a steadfast focus on member service and convenience, is our commitment to the communities in which we serve. Here are a just a couple examples of our involvement: We are a sponsor of Kare Youth League of Irwindale. They will be opening a multi-purpose sports complex in August, benefiting the local community through its uniquely designed program. We are also a Gold Plus Sponsor of the American Diabetes’ Association’s Tour De Cure coming to the Santa Fe Dam on June 10th. This is their primary cycling fundraising event geared toward a vision of a life free of diabetes and all its burdens. SCE FCU will have 29 participants and more than two dozen volunteers for this event, raising nearly $6,000 to date. SCE FCU encourages and rewards employees for volunteering their personal time for local charitable causes and community service. In 2016, employees served a total of 636 hours for charitable organizations, including the Credit Union’s own nonprofit, the Center for Financial Empowerment, the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, the AVON Walk To End Breast Cancer, KARE Youth League, Baldwin Park Santa Clothes, the San Gabriel Valley Coalition for the Homeless, Young Life, community cleanup days, and youth education/leadership/mentoring programs. Among other recognition, top volunteers are rewarded with donations to the charity of their choice.
Embassy Suites has been serving this community for over thirty years. Over the years, through many changes, Embassy Suites Arcadia has maintained a commitment to their guests and their community. Embassy Suites Arcadia was recognized as one of J.D. Power and Associates Best in Guest Satisfaction 2011-2012.
Seventh Street Development is a privately held real estate development company specializing in Southern California industrial, office and mixed-use commercial projects. Seventh Street has been a member of the Irwindale Chamber of Commerce for 13 years. Since its inception in 2003, Seventh Street has developed numerous successful and award-winning projects totaling approximately 2,500,000 square feet in over 50 buildings in various cities including Irwindale, Pomona, Riverside, and San Bernardino. The 2018 Rose Parade will mark FPF’s 30th year building floats for the Rose Parade. Fiesta Parade Floats has designed and built Rose Parade floats for a wide array of corporate, association and destination brands, including Kaiser Permanente, ABC’s The Bachelor, Dole Packaged Foods, California Milk Advisory Board, Discover Financial, Cunard Line, Paramount Pictures, Rain Bird Corporation, Subway, ABC Television, Lowe’s, National Association of Realtors, State of New Mexico, Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau, Florists’ Transworld Delivery (FTD), Smart and Final, Starbucks Coffee, Dr. Pepper, Thai Airways, Target Stores, Arco, U.S. Postal Service, AT&T, Kiehl’s Since 1851, Northwestern Mutual, Wells Fargo, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Natural Balance Pet Foods, S.C. In addition to parade floats, FPF also builds custom props for television commercials, feature films, exhibits and theme parks. Major exhibits include: Spring Garden Show, Crystal Court South Coast Plaza, American Institute of Floral Design National Symposium, Feature Exhibits and the Flower / Garden Pavilion at the Los Angeles County Fair, Bellagio, Palazzo and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Innoventions, Disneyland’s popular attraction in Tomorrowland and Venus Fort Shopping Mall in Tokyo, Japan.
Fiesta annually partners with the Girl Scouts by having them participate in the float decoration process for the Tournament of Roses Parade. Fiesta in turns makes an annual donation for their fundraising needs. Over the years, this amount exceeds $150,000. Fiesta also makes an annual donation to the Irwindale Police Officers' Association. Tim Estes, President of Fiesta Parade Floats is a current board member of CalFest (California / Nevada Festivals & Events Association) and a Certified Festival & Events Executive (CFEE).

Fiesta Parade Floats has been a member of the Irwindale Chamber for over nine years and has continuously supported the Chamber’s various events throughout those years. The Irwindale Chamber focuses its efforts on promoting a positive and vibrant economy and community. Fiesta Parade Floats, through its fine reputation and great work, has contributed greatly to this effort. Roger Ellenson established Pro Printing in 1980 after working for a large commercial printer in Los Angeles. Pro Printing was incorporated in 1985.

Owner, Roger Ellenson has served on the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Training Center and Glendora/Azusa Rotary awards of recognition, including numerous Business of the Month awards in the City of Irwindale. Roger has served on the Board of Directors for Lincoln Training Center, and Rotary International and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He works with numerous Animal Rescue foundations.

They have been a past Cornerstone Club member, is a past Irwindale Chamber board member, has been a Business Ambassador back when Chamber founder, Joe DiShanni was the chief paid executive. Victoria Lopez, VP of Client Relations, is an active member of the Ambassador committee. The staff are present in most chamber events. Payroll Vault participates, support and sponsor several chamber events such as Environmental awards, Golf committee, Casino night. Payroll Vault is also a member of the Covina chamber and Los Angeles Chamber.

Mariposa is a full service landscaping company that has been successfully satisfying clients for over 30 years. In 1977, Terry Noriega established Mariposa Landscapes in Rosemead, California by providing landscape maintenance and installation for custom residential and small commercial clients. After five years, he created the Public Works Maintenance Division, in 1989 the Public Works Installation Division was added, and in 1999 a Tree Care Division was formed. Mariposa is a certified MBE company with both the city and county of Los Angeles. We currently serve the Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. Our company staffs over 400 workers , supervisors, and management personnel.
We are dedicated to having the best-trained workforce in the industry. As members of the California Landscape Contractors Association, we participate in the training programs offered by this industry organization. The CLCA sponsors a rigorous "hands-on" test administered under actual field conditions. With only a 20% first time pass rate, only the best workers are able to obtain the designation of CL Tor Certified Landscape Technician. All of the managers and supervisors in our company have the CL T designation. No other contractor of our size and diversity in Southern California has achieved this many certifications.
